It was very easy to assemble but we did have two connectors that would not connect (or so we thought). I called Amazon (of whom we are loyal customers) and they said they would replace it and I should send the original one back. I told them I would call the company first to see if they would just replace the connectors which I did. The company's customer service assistant, Dawn, is a pleasure to work with. She sent me the connectors but they still would not fit so I asked her to send a new brace rod since that had to be the problem. She said she would but then called me back and said they were just going to send me a whole new rack! Where does anyone get customer service like that anymore?! As I said, I love the clothes rack, would highly recommend it and the company. I've tried others over the years, with predictable results--they lean, they skew, they topple, they snag, they leave stains... Not this one. It assembles quickly and it's about as sturdy as you could ask for as long as you put it on level ground and don't overload one end with heavy wet clothes. Another plus for me, perhaps minor, was that the unit's pieces were completely smooth, clean, and odorless. I had a rag and a file ready to clean it and sand down any rough spots, but didn't have to do a thing. To me this is further proof of care and quality. I'll be looking for other products made by Whitney Design. |
