Who pays much attention to hangers, but I'm green-minded, and wanting to do my part -- it's the little things we do that add up and make a big impact. Ditto hangers make me feel good, and my closet look good and organized. I actually reorganized my closet becuase of them, they do save space. The design eliminates those poky bumps that regular hangers create. They're great and I highly recommend them. Yes they do cost a little more but its 100% worth it. These hangers are made from the same heavy-duty, 100% recycled paper as their famous retail hangers and they are certified no chlorine, formaldehyde or heavy metals. They use only vegetable based inks and starch based adhesives. As for the strength, Ditto hangers hold well over 20lbs and I honestly have never seen a piece of clothing that weighed anywhere close to 20 pounds.The bottom line is the earth is being poisoned and overloaded with plastics and this issue has reached crisis level. For those of you that are unaware of this problem, simply do a little bit of research about what plastic is doing to the oceans and how its actually being mistaken as food by some of the species on the very bottom of the food chain.
