(Well, that's almost true--it doesn't mention anything about being able to close the doors afterwards.) If your doors fit well, forget about closing them. If they gap a little at the top you'll be okay. Also, be sure to check the orientation of your door. This gets complicated, but they will fit only on the side opposite the direction the door swings. So if you want to hang them over a door that swings INTO a room, the device will only hang on the outside. I wanted to hang one over my bedroom door, but found that the only way to do that was to have it hang on the hall side. When it was moved into our walk-in closet, my husband promptly took it over for his little dressing-area!
